Never Give Up on Your Dreams

Let me let you into the mind of a dreamer.

I have been "a dreamer" that has lived in her dream world since the day I picked up a pencil and started drawing pictures of people and writing stories...what I viewed. I saw people and things as visualizations and said to myself, what makes them tick? What makes that person smile? What makes that person mad? I started inquiring aloud. When people got fed up with my questions, I picked up a pencil.

Quiet as I was, I watched, I listened, I experienced, whether directly or indirectly, and I had a vision. Who I wanted to be. What I wanted to be. What I saw as my dreams. Not exactly living "in the moment" but no one could convince me otherwise. No one. No one tried really. Good thing I had a support team (parents) cause I selectively listened to those who had my back and ignored the nay-sayers.

I never wanted to "prove" to anyone else what I could do because that was too exhausting. So all that mattered was my mom's opinion anyways cause she believed in me whole-heartidly. So I believed in me. I believed what I learned from my parents and in Church...God created everyone equal. I never accepted the mediocre approach. That just isn't me. Nothing wrong with that either, but my dreams and aspirations were just inborn into my soul and I always wanted to push to the next level.

Growing up, life threw a couple curve balls though. I didn't exactly grow up to be that runway model or briefcase carrying business woman, or white coat scientist. All my dreams were not lost. As a matter of fact, through corporate jobs, the Marines, I still knew there was more.

Funny cause that little dreamer that wrote plays, stole her dad's video camera to record "news" and that girl that performed in dance, now performs as a figure competitor. I not only workout, but teach others how to get in the best shape of their life and motivate them to achieve their best. That dream of business became reality. I went to college and received a bachelors degree in business management, and I am also a freelance video editor and graphic designer. I always remind myself of what true success is. Simply "NOT GIVING UP"... by saying "Kel, you did it." No regrets.

Simple fact is nothing is truly out of reach. Be that dreamer. Live your dreams. Realist or not, never let people take your dreams from your soul. As a matter of fact, they are and will always remain dormant unless you unleash that beast. Sometimes it's scary, but fear isn't there to fold you. It's there to fuel you. So light that spark.

Stress Seems so Stressful

Why let the stresses of life take control of you? Stress can be both beneficial and destructive. Like a flame, use that spark inside to glow, do not let it get out of control so that is burns you...Don't let the tidal wave of stress wash over you..Float above the surface...Don't crash and burn, tuck and roll...take preventative measures, don't let the chaos of uncontrollable things into the calm of your day.

Choose to laugh, choose to smile. Choose to shrug your shoulders. Choose to love what is good.

Talk to God in private, ask for guidance, and breathe...:)

Motivation for the Week!!!

"Life isn't a matter of milestones, it's a matter of moments." -Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy

I quoted this because it is so close to the truth. It's funny how in life we all look at the great achievements of others as an unattainable goal. Like an artist that creates a masterpiece, is the perception of what you see that registers in your mind. In life when you visualize, you can make things happen.

When God created man, he created them in HIS own image. The masterpieces that live day to day are the creation of HIM. He gave his all to mankind. Through trials and tribulations, he gave man the ability to make decisions to see their dreams into reality.

The truth about life is that when we're born, we are born innocent. Untouched, but with the eyes and ears ready to absorb all information like a sponge. Those same eyes and ears never quit. They're on a mission. This mission is full of emotion, fear, obstacles, and tests. Tests of will, tests of time. Alone, at times you are defeated, battling every fear and question that tests your true being, your true character.

How magnificent it is to live a life full of all of these wonderful things. Through twists and turns, pain and glory, human beings are given these senses to learn, live, love, laugh, cry, give, taste, feel, hurt, trust, and understand.

Through broken TIMES, with time, we build ourselves back up. Through happy TIMES, we learn success. Through sad TIMES, we learn pain, but with TIME we learn to heal. Through loss of love, in TIME we learn to love again. These moments are what is meant by the term we call "TIME." Seconds of the day that build up the hours of which we live. These moments we have succeeded.

So with that said, I will leave you with a quote. Time is of the essence...but like Corita Kent said, "Life is a succession of moments. To live each one is to succeed."

To my babe, so proud of you!...

Peace, I'm out...

TO MY LOVE, FRIENDS, AND AMAZING CLIENTS!!!

Today I would like to congratulate my amazing clients, Priscilla, Emilie, and Christine for their amazing will power and ability to withstand adversity in their lives.

To my baby, I love you! You are an amazing man, and you continue to inspire me daily as well as the lives of many. Your intelligence and determination moves mountains, and I'm so glad that you are in my life. I can't tell you enough! You shine baby! I'm so proud of the person you are! I'm so proud of your progress, and I'm so excited about the DVD! :) LOVE U

Christine is an amazing woman going through a lot of stress and hasn't gave up. She even gave up the wine which hasn't affected her too bad. I told her to have her nightly glass, but she doesn't want to. She is such a strong woman! I love her mental ability. She has lost 30 lbs and keeps dropping and has also had many health issues, including the removal of her thyroid within the last 2 years! She is so disciplined!

Priscilla is really killin it. Today we had an awesome Ghettofied outdoor booty blast!! She is a very strong willed masochist (I think I'm rubbing off on her in the masochistic department) :P  She just LOVES the pain! So anyways, she has lost a lot of weight with and without me. I see her determination through it all and it amazes me daily. Her constant self-discipline is what makes someone a champion!!!

Emilie...my future MARINE OFFICER!! She is such a perfectionist, and has so much strength and potential to achieve the next level. How amazing she is!!! I'm so proud of her and her determination. Em, just like all of us perfectionists has so many blessings on her plate. From her intelligence to her athleticism, and big heart, I'm sure Emilie will make many positive changes in the lives of Marines! Oohrah sister! Semper Fidelis :)

To my friends competing...the first time and the first times are the roughest and best learning experiences you can have. There is no easy way, stay determined and stay on your path. That drive will see you through all of what you can achieve. If you dream it, you can believe it, and when you believe it, you can and will achieve it! :) Love you all, and good luck!

Love you allllll!
